Okay, guys. Since no one else is participating in the current challenge, I have to assume that this icontest is no longer of interest to more than two or three people (which unfortunately isn't enough to have a fair icontest). So I have to ask a few questions, and if the answers show what I'm expecting, cloisicontest will probably go on official hiatus. Don't worry about expressing negative answers; nobody can see your username in your votes.

Hey guys, can we please please please have at least one more participant for the current challenge? I know there are at least two people who want to keep participating, but we can't have icontests with only two or even three participants - there have to be at least four people.

I've got lots of ideas for interesting challenges we can do, just as soon as we get this one out of the way. So please enter?

Hey all! I'm sorry this comm has been so inactive for the past few months. It would be a lot easier if we had more participation, hint hint. ;) It would be lovely if we could get at least one or two more participants in the last challenge: ENTER HERE.

Also, I've had an idea for the next challenge! What would you guys say to collaborating with reeveverse in a fanmix challenge? They would have a little challenge coming up with songs pertaining to Reeveverse Clois, and once the songs are chosen by poll, we would have a challenge making front and back covers, maybe having people sign up for one or the other. Or maybe have people make a small banner for each song. What do you guys think - interested? :D

This week's challenge is Superman crossovers. You must use at least one character from one Superman incarnation and at least one character from another incarnation: for example, Erica Durance's Lois with Dean Cain's Clark. Or you can compare pictures of one character from various incarnations: for example, Erica Durance, Margot Kidder, Teri Hatcher, and Kate Bosworth all together. Or different comics incarnations; that could be fun! Which Loises and Clarks would get along? Which wouldn't? Feel free to go crazy with this, and let's see how well you can blend different pictures!

Well, hi, gang! For those of you who don't know me I'm Ashley, I'm Superman obsessed, have been for some time now. Um...my favorite incarnation is L&C:TNAOS but Chris Reeve has always been and will always be my Superman. *huggles* Anyway!

To kick off my first challenge I have decided to go with bases. I love seeing what people do with bases and I think it forces out of the box creative thinking. I'm calling this challenge Bases in Micro. Each one of the bases I've provided includes either a shot with mostly negative space or in which our subjects are a relatively small portion. Your mission is to create up to THREE ICONS from the following bases. You are welcome to blend and do anything you wish to these bases, you just have to use the bases I've provided.
